What is River Bend Bliss?
River Bend Bliss is a riverfront vacation rental and RV park in Cedar Creek, Texas. The property has one fully renovated 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house that sleeps up to 10 and four full-hookup RV sites, all on the Colorado River.
Is River Bend Bliss in Austin?
No — it's in Cedar Creek, a small community in Bastrop County about 30 minutes southeast of downtown Austin, just off Highway 71 between Austin and Bastrop. Many guests use it as a quieter base for Austin trips.
What is the address?
3300 River Road, Cedar Creek, TX 78612. Search "River Bend Bliss" in Google Maps for turn-by-turn directions.
Is the property really on the river?
Yes. The Colorado River runs along the back property line, and guests walk to the bank from the lawn. A viewing deck sits above the water with lounge and dining seating.
Do house guests and RV guests share the property?
Yes. Everyone shares the river access, viewing deck, fire pit, BBQ grills, picnic tables, yard games and lawn. RV guests also have their own laundry room.

What hookups are available at the RV sites?
Each of the four back-in sites has 30-amp and 50-amp electric service, a 110-volt outlet, a water connection and a sewer connection. High-speed Wi-Fi and a guest laundry room are included.
How long can my RV be?
Sites fit RVs up to 35 feet in length. All sites are back-in.
What is the RV age policy?
RVs older than 10 years are not accepted unless they have been restored. Share your RV's year and condition when you ask about availability.
Are 6-month or 12-month lease options available?
Yes. Six-month and 12-month lease options are available for RV sites. Call or text with your intended start date and RV details to discuss availability.
How much do the RV sites cost?
Monthly RV sites are $800–$900 per site, with electricity, water, sewer, Wi-Fi and laundry included. Nightly and weekly rates vary by season and events; check live pricing on RoverPass for your dates.
Which RV site has the best view?
RV Spot 1 has a direct view of the Colorado River and is usually the first to book. The other three sites are shaded and a short walk from the water.
Is River Bend Bliss a good RV park for COTA and F1 weekends?
Yes. Circuit of the Americas is about 25 minutes away, so you can attend race weekends and concerts and come back to a quiet riverside site. Sites go quickly for big events, so book early.

How many bedrooms and bathrooms does the house have?
Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with sleeping space for up to 10 guests, including a bunk room.
What amenities are in the house?
The house is fully furnished and stocked: an updated kitchen with cookware and tableware, an 80-inch living room TV, Roku TVs in the bedrooms, arcade games, a desk workspace, a washer and dryer, and high-speed Wi-Fi.
How many beds are in the house?
Six beds across three bedrooms, including a bunk bed, for up to 10 guests.
Is there a minimum stay for the house?
Yes. The river house has a two-night minimum stay.
What are the house rules?
The person booking must be at least 25 and staying at the house; third-party bookings are not accepted. Outdoor music must be turned down by 10 PM, please be courteous to neighbors and do not block driveways, and no food in the bedrooms.
What are the check-in and check-out times for the house?
Check-in and check-out times are set on the booking platform and shown in your reservation confirmation.
How do I get into the house?
The front door code is sent on the day of check-in, around noon Central time.
Is the house good for remote work?
Yes. There's a dedicated desk, reliable Wi-Fi throughout the house and down to the river deck, and a quiet setting. Guests have used it for workations and work assignments in the Austin area.

Are pets allowed?
No. River Bend Bliss does not allow pets in the river house or at the RV sites.
What is the cancellation policy for the river house?
Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If you book fewer than 30 days before check-in, you get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, cancellations receive a 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in, and no refund after that.
Are kayaks free to use?
Kayaks are available to rent on site — rental details are in the guest guidebook. You are also welcome to bring your own kayak or paddleboard.
How do I book?
Book the river house online through our booking page and RV sites through RoverPass, or call or text (737) 338-8896. Group stays that combine the house and RV sites are easiest to arrange by phone.
Can I book the whole property for a group or event?
Yes. Booking the house together with the RV sites gives a group the run of the property for reunions, birthdays and friend trips. Call or text to line up the dates.
Do you offer long-term stays?
Yes. RV sites are available monthly, and longer stays in the house can be discussed. Contractors, travel nurses and visiting work crews regularly stay with us.
What should I pack for a river stay?
Water shoes, sun protection, bug spray, a dry bag for your phone, fishing gear if you plan to fish, and layers for cooler evenings by the fire. The house kitchen is stocked, so you mostly need groceries.

How far is River Bend Bliss from the Austin airport?
About 30 minutes from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS), depending on traffic on Highway 71.
What is there to do near Cedar Creek, TX?
McKinney Roughs Nature Park is about 5 minutes away with 18-plus miles of trails, zip lining and river views. Historic downtown Bastrop is about 20 minutes with Bastrop State Park just beyond it, Circuit of the Americas about 25, and downtown Austin about 30.
Is Cedar Creek close to Bastrop?
Yes. Downtown Bastrop is roughly 20 minutes east of the property on Highway 71.
