What is River Bend Bliss?

River Bend Bliss is a riverfront vacation rental and RV park in Cedar Creek, Texas. It has a fully renovated 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house that sleeps up to 10 guests and four full-hookup RV sites, all all on the banks of the Colorado River.

It started as a fix-and-flip. Then the overgrowth came down, the river appeared behind the house, and selling it stopped making sense. Today guests rent the river house, pull into one of the RV sites, or book both and bring the whole crew. Read how River Bend Bliss started.

“Stayed two nights out there and had an absolute blast! Plenty of room for my family, comfortable beds, and a beautiful property on the river. My kids loved taking the kayaks out for a spin! Had an awesome fire pit night in the private backyard and enjoyed some time on the river deck.”

“Great location! Convenient to Austin, ABIA, COTA, you name it. And best of all, a quiet, relaxing retreat away from all the noise. Beautifully done, clean, and so much to do there that you don't have to leave.”

Practical answers before you book.

Where is River Bend Bliss?

River Bend Bliss is at 3300 River Road in Cedar Creek, Texas 78612, in Bastrop County. The property backs onto the Colorado River between Austin and Bastrop, about 30 minutes from downtown Austin and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

Can I book the house and RV sites together?

Yes. Groups often book the river house plus one or more of the four RV sites so everyone stays on the same property and shares the river deck, fire pit, grills and lawn. Call or text us to line up the dates for both.

What hookups do the RV sites have?

Every site is a newly built back-in site with 30-amp and 50-amp electric, a 110-volt outlet, water and sewer, plus high-speed Wi-Fi and use of the RV guest laundry room. Sites fit RVs up to 35 feet.

Is River Bend Bliss right on the Colorado River?

Yes. The property sits right on the Colorado River — the river is the back property line. The lawn runs down to the bank and the river viewing deck, so you can fish, launch a kayak or just watch the water without getting in the car.

Do you offer monthly RV stays?

Yes. Monthly RV sites are $650 per site, with electricity, water, sewer, Wi-Fi and laundry included. Contractors, travel nurses and remote workers use the sites as a quiet base near Austin.
